LH04 is live, and it brought some changes you don't want to miss!

New discord LFG features

Some of you already experimented with the new bot features and slash commands. Here is a summary:

  • The general /lfg command has two modes:
    • Direct with arguments autocomplete.
    • Guided mode with a modal form that opens when you leave the command arguments blank.
  • The bot now automatically closes the game when the max number of participants is reached (4 by default for the league).
  • The bot new preregisters your game, so no need to create a new submission form. The winner can simply update the existing one to close the game.
  • You can define multiple games with the same lobby (4x4 games for example) with nb_games. It will create and preregister as many threads/games.
  • You can define a title now, separate from the description.
  • On top of the general /lfg command, you can also use the specific RDL commands :
    • /rdlasync: renamed from /rdl this season, so you can ping live and async separately.
    • /rdllive: same for live games, new this season. Make sure to subscribe to the new role on discord if want to play live games by using the Channels & Roles on the discord server.
  • These game-specific commands allows to define game parameters (map, deck, etc), which will be used by the bot for the preregistration, to simplify the process.
    • Example : /rdlasync map:Autumn deck:Standard
    • You can also select Random and the bot will roll before registering the game, e.g. /rdlasync map:Random landmarks:Random,Random deck:Standard (a random map, two random landmarks, and a fixed deck).

New report form

We have noticed that the quality of games has degraded recently due to more players timing out in game or leaving a game. For this reason, the new report form is directly available on the website, tied to a match. You can find it on the match's detailed page. Make sure to use it when incidents happen.
